For those who have no credit cards – or simply prefer not to use them – debit cards are the next best option (you might also consider gift cards). Using a debit card to deposit money to online poker sites is easy, fast and even free most of the time.
Most debit card poker sites charge no extra fees for debit card deposits; sadly, the biggest US online poker site charges a 4.9% fee per deposit. In addition to this, players have to pay processing fees to the operator (it’s considered outrageous for an online poker site to charge for a card deposit and it’s one of the only negatives at Ignition Poker).

One of the best pre-paid debit cards for online poker is Netspend (since it has a high success rate). One customer service person told me to avoid using Walmart pre-paid debit cards at all costs. I’ve seen reports of those cards not working at online poker forums, so I’d stay away from them.
Other than that, I have little knowledge of other VISA debit cards for online poker. As long as the criteria mentioned above is met, though, you should have a decent chance of depositing successfully.
