2020 High Roller Events Schedule Released By World Series Of Poker
We have some details to reveal about the 2020 World Series of Poker as they’ve released the first few tournaments of its official 2020 High Roller event schedule. This year’s schedule will feature nine high roller events, with buy-ins that range from $25,000 to $250,000. In order to participate in all nine events, a player would need a total of $625,000 in order to enter.
The 2020 schedule will kick off on May 29th with the High Roller No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed event that features the $25,000 buy-in. While the buy-ins range throughout the course of the year, the big one will be the $250,000 buy-in Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed event on June 27th. The series will culminate on July 11th with the High Roller No-Limit Hold’em 8-Handed set with a $100,000 buy-in.
In total, seven of the nine high roller events will take place at eight-handed tables. The $50,000 Poker Players Championship will be played at six-handed tables in order to make sure that the WSOP accommodates the mix of games. Meanwhile, the heads-up championship will feature just two players per table. The remaining events for this year’s series will be finalized in February.
