This week’s news from the casino world kicks off with more headlines coming out of Wynn Resorts. At least this time they’re mostly positive as the company is trying to enact some change.
Wynn Resorts Adds Three Females To Board Of Directors
There has been a little bit of good news for Wynn Resorts, which it seems hasn’t been able to shake the bad headlines of late. Former CEO Steve Wynn had to resign due to sexual misconduct allegations and that has hurt Wynn Resorts’ reputation considerably. In its next move to clean up the mess, it has decided to add three women to the board of directors. The board will now have 11 members with four of them (36 percent) being female. The new members are Betsy Atkins, Margaret “Dee Dee” Myers and Winifred “Wendy” Webb. While they are more than deserving of their roles, the timing does speak volumes.
For some background on the new additions, Myers worked as a communications consultant during Bill Clinton’s first term as president and she was somewhat of a crisis manager for that administration. Meanwhile, Atkins founded Baja Corporation, which is a major venture capital investment company, and Webb had been a senior executive for the Walt Disney Company for the last 20 years before moving on to ABM, which is a facilities management company.
Finnplay Teams Up With Red Rake Gaming
Finnplay, a Finnish-based gaming platform provider, has revealed that it’ll be working with Red Rake Gaming in a partnership that will give it access to more online casino games. Finnplay already offers top-line games and software for its players and now they’ll have access to more than 60 more games thanks to Red Rake Gaming, including over 40 slots and video bingo games. That includes the popular The Asp of Cleopatra and Jack O’Lantern vs. The Headless Horseman, as well as Eastern Goddesses.
It works out well for everyone because Finnplay needs games to add to the menu for its loyal fan base. For Red Rake Gaming, it’s greater exposure for its casino games, which are already viewed as high-quality.
BetSoft Partners With OCG International
BetSoft Gaming, a well-known brand in the online casino industry, has formed a new partnership. It will be working closely with OCG International, providing them with different online slots. OCG International, which is an iGaming operator based out of Malta, will receive access to BetSoft’s Slots3 series, which is a very popular series of online games. They will also be able to use the Classic Slots collection.
OCG International is looking to target and expand in the German market, so it is hoping that this new offering allows the company to get a foothold into Germany. Customers familiar with OCG International are fairly happy with the product as it was but now they’ll get an even larger array of games thanks to the partnership with BetSoft.
